This Policy Analysis aims to analyze the legal framework regulating the state aid area by focusing on the national and EU regulation; provides a chronological order of events regarding the functionalization of the Department of State Aid and its Commission; highlights the priorities stemming from the European Reform Agenda and the National Programme for the Implementation of the SAA; as well as lists a set of recommendations tailored specifically for key stakeholders.
