Big Promises, Vague Results: Four Years of Kurti II Government in Rule of Law, Public Administration Reform, Economy and Foreign Policy

This policy analysis intends to analyze the effectiveness of the policies implemented by Kurti II government, focusing mainly on justice, public administration, foreign policy and economy. To that end, it will scrutinize the main reforms in the field of rule of law, such as the vetting and the overall success of the modernization of the field; the public administration reform, its effectiveness in driving change and delivering results; foreign policy, the state of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora (MFAD), European integration, the normalization process with Serbia and finally; the economy, scrutinizing the growth rate, trade deficit and foreign direct investment. It will build on the previously issued annual reviews of the government’s policy choices by GLPS, to ensure continuity in assessment.
