GLPS hosted a visit by the Working Party on the Western Balkans Region (COWEB) of the Council of the European Union

On September 26, Group for Legal and Political Studies (GLPS) hosted a delegation of the Working Party on the Western Balkans Region (COWEB) of the Council of the European Union. COWEB is responsible for EU relations with the Western Balkans region (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, and Kosovo). The working party deals with the general political and economic developments, the Stabilisation and Association process and the financial instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA). The COWEB delegation was accompanied by the Head of the European Union Office in Kosovo/EU Special Representative, H.E. Ms. Apostolova. During their visit, our team informed them on the current developments in Kosovo, while special emphasis was put on the rule of law, public administration reform, visa liberalisation process, implementation of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA), as well as the final phase of the dialogue with Serbia.
