The Kosovo Assembly’s Parliamentary Committee for European Integration Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Group for Legal and Political Studies

October 11, 2012

On 9 October 2012, Group for Legal and Political Studies (GLPS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Kosovo’s parliamentary Committee for European Integration. This memorandum lays the foundation for continued collaboration between GLPS and the Committee for European Integration on issues pertaining to visa liberalization and Kosovo’s path towards signing a Stabilization and Association Agreement with the European Union. GLPS will monitor the work of the Committee and offer professional recommendations on the visa liberalization roadmap and SAA criteria in order to support Kosovo in reaching the benchmarks set by the European Union and to accelerate Kosovo’s progress towards visa liberalization and European integration. In turn, the Committee for European Integration will support the partnership by supplying GLPS with materials and information to enable the Group in our supportive capacity, by collaborating directly with the Group, and by hearing and discussing GLPS’s recommendations and policy suggestions. GLPS looks forward to a long and fruitful partnership with the Kosovo’s parliamentary Committee for European Integration.
