Executive Director
Njomza is the Executive Director at the Group for Legal and Political Studies as of September 2025, leading organization’s strategic vision, research agenda, and institutional partnership across Kosovo, the region, and the EU. Having been part of GLPS leadership since 2016, she has been a driving force behind GLPS’ development and success over the past decade, and an instrumental part of in shaping organization’s growth, impact, and institutional sustainability.
Njomza is a proven leader in governance, civil society, and institutional reform, with over 16 years of professional experience advancing strategic initiatives and shaping public policy in Kosovo and the region. Her interests and expertise include good governance, EU integration and regional cooperation. Njomza also led the Centre for Strategic Litigation, the first initiative of its kind in Kosovo, designed to strengthen democratic accountability and the rule of law through strategic litigation. She is a co-author the Freedom House Nations in Transit Report Kosovo 2021, and has contributed to the same report in 2020 and 2019.
Prior to joining GLPS, she held senior management roles in the private sector, leading complex, donor-funded projects with the EU, UNDP, USAID, among others. Njomza holds a BSc in Business Administration from the South East European University in North Macedonia and is an alumna of two prestigious international programs – the U.S State Department’s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) and the European Union Visitors Programme (EUVP). She also serves as a Member of the Heinrich Bool Foundation’s Western Balkan Strategy Group.
