Call for Applications – Small Grant Scheme for Local and Grassroot Organizations in Kosovo

Within the framework of the project “Strengthened Civil Society Role in Fighting Social Inequality and Gender-Based Violence in Kosovo”, funded by the European Union and implemented by Group for Legal and Political Studies (GLPS), a Call for Applications is now open for local and community-based organizations in Kosovo under the Small Grants Scheme.

This grants scheme aims to support local initiatives that contribute to empowering communities, promoting human rights, increasing civic participation, and addressing social inequalities and gender-based violence.

Objectives of the Grants Scheme

The scheme aims to:

  • strengthen the role of local organizations in policy-making and decision-making processes;
  • support initiatives addressing social inequalities and gender-based violence;
  • promote access to justice and the protection of human rights;
  • increase civic engagement and participatory democracy;
  • strengthen cooperation between civil society, public institutions, and local communities.

Grant Information

GLPS will fund up to four (4) grants, with a value of up to €10,000 per project.

Project duration:
Supported projects must have an implementation period of 6 to 12 months.

Priority Areas of Support

Proposed projects should contribute to one or more of the following areas:

  • combating social inequality;
  • preventing and addressing gender-based violence;
  • promoting human rights and access to justice;
  • civic engagement and participatory democracy;
  • public policy monitoring and advocacy.

Call publication: 13 May 2026

Information session: 28 May 2026 (online via Zoom)

Deadline for questions and clarifications: 4 June 2026

Application submission deadline: 14 June 2026, 23:59
