Renata joined GLPS in January 2022. Her focus is mainly on rule of law issues and sectorâs reform processes in Kosovo. Before joining Group for Legal and Political Studies, she was engaged as a Legal Officer in the private sector with a focus on Commercial Law. She also served as a Legal Advisor and Legal Associate in the private sector, working mainly with the drafting of documents, and agreements, conducting legal research, and ensuring legal compliance. Renata was engaged as an intern in Kosovo Customs in the Sector of Representations, Sector for Advice and Procedures, and Reviewing Decisions Sector, as well as in the Ombudsperson Institution of Kosovo within the Childrenâs Rights Department. She served as a Legal Researcher at SENSE Cyber Research Center with a focus on Cyber Security and Data Protection for almost three years.
She graduated in Law from the University of Prishtina, Faculty of Law, and was honored as a distinguished student of the Law School. She is currently pursuing her Master of Laws in the Criminal Program at the University of Prishtina. During the course of her studies and afterward, Renata has attended several courses, trainings, and clinics, including the clinic âUNHCR and the International Refugee Lawâ organized by UNHCR, the âCriminal Law Clinicâ organized by USAID â Justice Matters Activity in Kosovo, training âEducation on Justiceâ organized by Infinite Academy, also she attended a summer school on Transitional Justice.
